The design of this clock represents the act of finding time, and solves the problem of time being buried in our daily lives. The system is quite simple, with a glass plate carrying magnetic fluid and a box that houses a mechanism for rotating the magnet. When the plate is moved onto the platform of the box, the magnetic fluid gathers in a spiky form in positions corresponding to the tips of the hands of an analog clock. The locations of the long, short, and second hands are shown by the positions of the magnetic fluid, enabling us to find the time. If the plate is left on the platform, the magnetic fluid moves as time goes by. If it is left even longer, the magnetic fluid turns into an ordinary black liquid and the time is no longer displayed.

This is a directive speaker for daily use. It may be easier to understand it as a speaker that emits sound like a laser. The speaker utilizes technologies for generating simulated sound waves by lining up a large number of ultrasonic elements and adjusting the wavelengths of ultrasonic sound to the audible spectrum. The speaker is intended for emitting sound in a limited space by irradiating the sound within an extremely limited scope. With the current trial model, the sound leaks when reflected onto the audience and walls, the resolution of low-pitch sound is low, and other problems are also evident. However, it offers a realistic sensation that almost feels like being tickled. The problem explained in the Inspiration section will be resolved by creating a personal audio space that does not cover the ears.

This product is a special lighting fixture that is like a work of art. At the center are three acrylic rods that direct the light from the LED light source. These are surrounded by three pillars of water droplets. The water droplets fall from above in a set rhythm. The lighting fixture begins flickering when the light-emitting knob is turned, creating a strobe effect when the timing of the flickering changes. The water droplets move from a state where they appear to be falling and begin shifting back and forth between a state where they appear to be fixed and a state where they appear to be rising. Through this optical illusion, the product addresses the issue that the reliability of vision should not be taken for granted by making viewers aware of the vulnerability of information perceived visually and changing the ways they see things in their daily lives, or getting them to look at different views by using the product as a stroboscope.

The matters include permeability and others that clothes should solve. By using a super-water-repellent material for the outer material, the work can be prevented from water invading. And titanium-sputtering-material is used in the lining for the heat-retaining property and the permeability. Moreover, waterproof fastener is used too, for the waterproof property. When taking a rest in outdoor, it can transform into shape covering the whole body to improve the functions of heat insulation and the waterproof. When moving, you can lift the bottom of cloth and take off the jacket, so that you can move easily.

The main theme of this piece was to deal with the abdomen of expectant mothers, which gradually grows bigger over the ten-month period of pregnancy. The focus was on how, owing to its design, everyday clothing could conform to a body that continually changes its form. The specific issues to be resolved were to provide support for pregnant women whose bodies have changed and who find it difficult to move, and to propose an approach to the problem of expectant mothers who are unable to wear the clothes that they would like to wear.
